NFC safety wristbands
BuddyTag
Launching soon
BuddyTag makes NFC safety wristbands for children and the elderly — a quick tap with any phone reaches the right people in seconds. I was handed their existing site and rebuilt it, page by page, into something that feels playful and reassuring at the same time.
The challenge
A safety product has to pull off a balancing act: feel warm and friendly, yet earn real trust — and make a piece of technology instantly understandable. The site needed to show how the wristband works at a glance, make its benefits obvious, and gently guide visitors toward buying, without ever feeling clinical.
What I did
I redesigned the full multi-page site, rebuilt the brand's assets into clean, scalable SVG logos around their signature red, and added a new sub-page I proposed to round out the story. The texts came from the client; the design, structure, and the "how it works" flow are mine — calmer, more confident, and consistent from the homepage down to the smallest detail. Built in English and Swedish.
Proudest of
What I'm proudest of: taking a serious safety product and giving it a site that feels genuinely friendly and human — while making the technology click in just a few seconds.

The original site — before my redesign
This is the site as it looks live right now — the design I was brought in to replace. The redesign above goes live soon; until then, buddytag.se still shows this original version.
