Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data is collected when you visit this website, why it is collected, and what rights you have. Luki.web is a small, independent web design business and only collects the minimum data needed to answer your enquiries.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Lukas Larsson Bonacic (Luki.web), based in Torrevieja, Spain. For any privacy-related question you can reach me at info@lukiweb.com.

2. What data is collected

Only what you actively provide or what is technically necessary to run the site:

  • Contact form: the name, email address, and message you choose to send.
  • Technical data: standard server log data (such as IP address and browser type) processed by the hosting provider to deliver and secure the site.
  • Preferences: your chosen language and light/dark theme are stored locally in your own browser and are never sent to me.

3. Why it is collected (legal basis)

Contact form data is used solely to read and reply to your enquiry, on the basis of your consent and our mutual interest in taking steps before a possible agreement. Technical log data is processed on the basis of a legitimate interest in keeping the site available and secure. Your data is never sold or used for advertising.

4. Third-party services

To run the site I rely on a few trusted services that may process limited data on my behalf:

  • Hosting: Netlify (delivers the site and processes server logs).
  • Contact form: a form-handling service (e.g. Formspree / Netlify Forms) that forwards your message to my inbox.
  • Content delivery: Google Fonts and icon/animation libraries may receive your IP address when loading. (These are being moved to local hosting to minimise this.)
  • If you click the WhatsApp link, you are taken to WhatsApp (Meta), governed by their own privacy policy.

5. Cookies & local storage

This site does not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies. It only stores your language and theme preference in your browser's local storage, which is strictly functional and does not identify you. Because of this, no cookie consent banner is required.

6. How long data is kept

Messages sent through the contact form are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting project, and are deleted afterwards on request. Server logs are retained for a short period by the hosting provider.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email info@lukiweb.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
