How long does it take?
Most one-page sites are ready within 1–2 weeks of our first call. Larger, multi-page packages typically take 2–4 weeks, depending on how quickly content like text and photos is provided.
Who owns the website?
You do — completely. Your domain is registered in your name and the site is hosted on your own account, so you're always in control. You also receive a full copy of all the files, which means your website is yours to keep no matter what — it's built in clean, standard code, not locked into any platform, so you or any developer can pick it up at any time. While we work together I handle updates for you through secure access you can revoke whenever you like, and because the site is fast, static code it stays online reliably with nothing needed just to keep it running.
What about domain and hosting costs?
Hosting is free thanks to Netlify's generous free tier, which is more than enough for a small business site. A custom domain (e.g. yourbusiness.com) typically costs around €10–15 per year through a domain registrar — I can help you set this up.
Can I edit the site myself?
Your site is handcoded for speed and security, so it doesn't have a drag-and-drop editor — which also means there's nothing to accidentally break. For any change, just message me; small edits are quick and can be included in a care plan. Prefer to handle simple text updates yourself? You'll own your site on your own hosting, and I can teach you the basics in about an hour.
Do you work in other languages?
Yes — I build sites in English, Spanish, and Swedish, which is especially useful here on the Costa Blanca with its mix of locals, expats, and tourists.
